'THE
INTERNATIONAL',BIRMINGHAM has been established for a number of years and is the premier Antique Arms & Militaria Fair in the U.K., with over 100 exhibitors from all over the Country and sometimes from overseas, filling the 170+ tables. For the past several years there has been
a waiting list of dealers, hoping for the opportunity to take
part in this premier show, as exhibitors. This illustrates
the very high quality of the event, which always attracts
four figure customer attendance numbers. The fair is held
four times each year, and it is the event above all others
in the UK that all serious dealers and collectors try not
to miss.
LOCATION:
The National Motorcycle Museum enjoys a superb location directly off the traffic island of junction 6 of the M42 Motorway and opposite the National Exhibition Centre. This position is at the heart of the motorway network providing easy access from most parts of the Country. The Museum is well sign posted (look out for the brown coloured signs, and the pyramid shaped buildings of the museum).
LATEST NEWS: As most of you will be aware The National Motorcycle Museum was badly damaged by fire in September 2003.A temporary hall was constructed on the site, and our fairs were held in this building with great success. Now the Museum has been extensively restored and refurbished, and it is with great pleasure that we can announce that our fair to be held SUNDAY 12th JUNE 2005 will be back in the three adjoining suites, the Premier,Compton, and Manxman, offering our exhibitors and visitors a luxurious setting with improved facilities. All future events will be held in these suites.
The cause of the 2003 fire, which resulted in millions of pounds worth of damage to the buildings and motorcycle collection was thought to have been caused by a carelessly disgarded cigarette butt ~ so you will understand that this is a very sensitive issue and SMOKING INSIDE THE BUILDING & OF COURSE IN THE FAIR IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Any person not co-operating with this rule,Exhibitor or visitor will be asked to leave immediately.
